In Opal, a team is meant to reflect actual teams in your organization, like DevOps team or Design team. Teams own the resource. Admins of teams can approve or reject access requests.
A group is used to define a group of permissions that are related to each other and doesn't intend to directly correspond with your organizational structure. Unlike teams, they cannot own or approve access to any permissions or groups!
